A tangible world

A soft wind caresses my face, pulling my hair to fly with it. I close my eyes and spread my arms letting the wind surge around me. Taking with it any feelings of doubt and fear. I can feel your arms slowly wrap around me, and I can't help but smile as a rush of emotions swell in my chest. Love, serenity, hope...it's a small taste of perfection, that begins to paint my world in colors I've never seen before. The feel of your arms around me makes me feel as if I can do anything. The freedom I've longed to have is so tangable I can taste it on my tongue. It's almost as If I can jump and fly with the wind, I can outstrech my arm and lightly caress the sky with my fingertips. I can almost feel the soft blue nothingness in my grasp, the mosture of a puffy white cloud holding within it rain ready to pour on the world below. I can just imagine the warmth of the sun on my skin and the blinding brightness that shines on us all. I can look down upon the world I've always lived in, but never dreamed of seeing this way, so luscious with vibrant colors and beauty!!A beauty I never before took the time to see in myself, a beauty that is reflected in everyone. How is it we can go so long living and never take a moment to look at the beauty around us, to stop and smell the frangrant flowers that suround us or look into the face of those we love so dearly and speak words we feel inside. It's amazing how a simple turn of events can open my eyes to a new world and realize with unbelief that it's the world I've dreamed about my whole life, that all along it was layed out right before me.
Now I can see it all, the magnificant stars speckled across the sky each on containing a memory that envelopes me in happiness. A happiness that so often goes undiscovered by the world. I can close my eyes and in the darkness visit my dreams which now seem possible to achieve. I'm surrounded by an aura of gold that laces aroundme causing me to shine with a beauty the went unseen by the world below. No longer am I embraced by the darkness that claimed me once before. I vindicate my freedom and let its sweetness soar through my veins. With a single deep breath I am renewed. With the knowledge of a new start on my mind, I ever so slowly lower my arms taking the time to feel the world around me. I wait to open my eyes until I've turned completely to face you, but when they open I catch my breath. I'm looking into a world of blue. The colors of saphire and ocean mixed into perfection. With one look I can see everything I've ever dreamed play out right before my eyes, throught yours. But there's something else, something I've longed for but never seen displayed in this intensity...love. An ocean of love that flows straight to my heart, it's almost to much for me to comprehend. I can feel this never ending ocean of love flow through me and before you know it I close my eyes and feel it streaming down my cheeks. I'm overflowing with an emotion I've longed to feel my entire life. I can feel you reach up to wipe away my falling tears, their familiar moisture brings me fading memories of tears I've shed before. Yet, somehow it's different. The moisture falling from my eyes now brings to me a joy beyond words, a satisfaction I've never known. It's at that very moment that I realize after years of heartache and pain, that I've finally found my true place in life. I know now where I belong.
